Eat, Move & Learn have had educational and interactive outings to Whole Foods in Portland and a class by Linda Manchester of The Good Life Market in Raymond.

T’AI CHI
Tuesdays: March 7, 14, 21 & 28

We will focus on a set of fun exercises that involveQigong (Chi Kung) breathing, push hands and basic form.
No prior experience needed—all levels are welcome. You will leave each class feeling more relaxed and with a calm peace of mind.
Toby holds black belts in various styles of karate, KungFu and T’ai Chi.
A minimum of 6 participants is needed to run the class.

BASICS OF YOGA AND MINDFULNESS MEDITATION
Mondays: March 6, 13, 20 & 27
3rd Floor Activity Room
6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Instructor: Traca Gress
$50 (collected at first class)
Four week series exploring yoga asana (postures), breath and mindfulness meditation. This class will make use of breath, movement and stillness as pathways to feeling more ease and spaciousness in our bodies, minds and lives. No experience necessary. Anybody is welcome.
Please bring a yoga mat and a cushion or pillow to sit on.
Chairs will be available for those who prefer not to sit on the floor.
Traca finished her Master’s degree in Yoga studies at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in May 2016. She has been practicing and teaching for most of her life and loves sharing the practices in a way that is accessible and relevant to the lives we live. She is moving back to LA in June and is excited for the opportunity to teach once again in Gorham before heading west.
